Not only does the 1in12 Club have its own bar, café, concert/gig floor, recording studio, football team and printing dungeon but it also has it’s own allotment that’s been managed by the Peasants Collective for the last 20 years. The Peasants Collective “Aims to grow food organically and locally, through skill sharing and work days, selling the produce to 1in12 Club members and organising Peasants Collective meals to coincide with harvests.”
So we were approached to print some letterpress self-adhesive labels for jams, pickles & chutneys. But we should have kept our eye on the ball a little more as we didn’t get any ‘Red & Blackcurrant Jam’ in return…nope, we ended up with some Jersualem Artichokes as someone thought it would be really funny to stick some Printers in a small room after having eaten them for tea. Bloody comedians.
