Cairn Board Grey is a really nice 100% recycled ‘grey board’ stock from Paperback, slightly smooth on one side, and very textured on the other.
We printed Michael’s details on the smooth side, leaving the textured side on the reverse for that extra ‘tactile dimension’.
For this job we also had some Helvetica 9D (Didot) cast by the excellent Hand & Eye Foundry. Whilst we’ve become so used to Helvetica being ‘everywhere’, in the UK letterpress world it’s almost like searching for hens’ teeth.
