Leeds Print Festival arrived at the end of January 2012 and we were happily dragged along for the ‘roller’ coaster ride that it was.
We designed and printed the ‘Be Afraid of Print’ opening night invites and the ‘Hear the Living Talk About the Dead’ talks tickets. On the opening night we got inked up and demo-ed letterpress printing on an Adana 8×5, Saturday saw us at the Print Fair and all weekend we had some posters in the Exhibition (buy here, here and here).
The invites and tickets were printed on GFSmith Colorplan 700gsm Smoke & Pristine White. Type: Granby Bold 14pt, Granby Light 10pt, Stephenson Blake 24pt Ornaments, 36pt Condensed Grotesque (Blackfriars Type Foundry).
A fantastic event which is set to continue in 2013, but before that, there’s POP UP PRINT….
