Our aim is to keep the skill and art of letterpress alive by
producing work which is incredible to read, feel and
touch. It’s that simple.
Not sure what letterpress is? Have a look at this Wikipedia
definition or better still have a look at these images.
Our work is centred around an Arab, a Peerless No. 2
Platen and a massive Soldan Proof Press all of which
have been powered by hand, foot and eye for over
100 years.
We actively salvage, recycle and re-use print equipment
(ink, type, paper etc) which is rendered obsolete by
commercial interests.
We are based at the world famous 1in12 Club, Bradford
—a self run, self managed social centre which has been
part of the fabric of Bradford and the wider area
for over 30 years.
If you are interested in incorporating letterpress into
your work or are interested in joining The Print Project
please get in touch.
